In 2021 pilot projects were planned and developed in the same countries in order to be able to adjust the guidelines, tools and methodologies. In Spain, the first of the
interventions has been developed in the city of Fuenlabrada.

The Placemaking for Active Recreation team joined the Placemaking Week Europe in Pontevedra on 26-29 September for another project meeting, and PARK session at the festival to share the resources, learnings, and disseminate the concept outwards.

Driven by the desire to develop activities that will have a long-lasting impact on public places and local communities, as an implementing organisation for Bulgaria, Power Jump has decided to focus on one specific location and local community while implementing the pilot actions of the PARK project.

The project took place in 3 municipalities in Romania – Suceava, Gura Humorului and Oltenita covering 3 different geographical areas. We involved stakeholders from various fields of activity: school teachers, businessmen, representatives of the local community, managers of public institutions.
